The Pocket’s Membership Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the rights and responsibilities of all members (“Members”) of The Pocket’s private membership lounge (“Lounge”) at its facility located at 115 Union Avenue Memphis, TN 38103 (“Premises”). This Agreement may be amended from time-to-time as determined by management and communicated to the Members by posting on the website, accessible with member’s login or via email to all Members in good standing.

Membership Fee

The membership fee must be paid in full at the time of execution of this Agreement.

Membership Duration

The term of Membership is one (1) year from the date of Agreement (“Anniversary Date”). Membership is non-transferrable. The Membership will not automatically renew on the anniversary date, unless this option is elected by the Member upon becoming a Member. All written correspondence should be addressed to 115 Union Avenue Memphis, TN 38103. If a Member wishes to withdraw its membership for any reason before the anniversary date, there is no return of fees for the days remaining on the term. A Member may be removed for violating a provision of this Agreement, engaging in any illegal conduct at the Premises, committing vandalism at the Premises, engaging in altercations, or unreasonably disturbing other Members or Guests. Member will be notified within 7 days of termination or suspension in writing via first class mail to the last address listed with The Pocket. A Member who is removed shall not be entitled to any refund of fees. The Pocket reserves the right to terminate or suspend a Membership and this Agreement at any time for any reason.

Membership Cards

Each member will be issued a membership card which they must present at each visit. Each member is responsible for the safekeeping of such membership card. Lost or stolen cards must be reported to The Pocket management immediately. All replacement cards issued are subject to a $50 service fee. Members agree that The Pocket may utilize other forms of identity verification as technological advances occur.

Policies

The following policies are intended to promote a positive and safe experience for all members and their guests. The Pocket features tapas dining, tailor made crafted cocktails, relaxation, social interaction, business growth and networking, innovation, and serves as a facility for special events to its members. Our primary concern is the well-being of all Members and their ability to relax and enjoy The Pocket. Although business discussions will naturally arise, in the course of socializing among Members, we will not allow solicitation of Members for business opportunities, for fundraising, to join other organizations, to promote religious or political causes, the distribution of unsolicited marketing materials to other Members, or the posting of any notices or advertisements not pre-approved by management.

Alcohol Policy. While alcoholic beverages are served throughout and are a part of the membership experience, we expect all Members to moderate their usage and refrain from boisterous or disruptive behavior, as a result of their intake. We reserve the right to refuse to serve alcoholic beverage to Members and Guests who appear to be intoxicated. Alcoholic beverage service will comply with all Federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations, including minimum drinking age laws. No food or beverage may be taken away from the Premises.

Anti-Harassment Policy. Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual advances toward persons of either sex, are not permitted. Any Member who is disturbed by any of the conduct described above is urged to report such matters to management.

Smoking. Smoking is only permitted inside the Cigar Lounge. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any other areas.

Dress Code. We encourage Members and their guests to dress in the manner that is appropriate and tasteful. Men must wear a collared shirt or sports jacket. No athletic gear or baseball caps.

Personal Information. It is the responsibility of the Member to notify The Pocket of any changes in bank account information and contact information, including emails and mailing address.

Gratuity. Food and beverage tabs may incur 20% service charge during special events.

Guests

Members may invite guests (“Guests”). Member’s guests are limited to the number their membership package allows per day, ages 25 and older. Members must ensure that their Guests are aware of all Policies stated in this Agreement. Members are responsible for the conduct of their Guests and for any unpaid charges of their Guests. Members must register their guest each visit, providing the full name of each person. Guests must be registered either in advance by phone or email or upon Member’s arrival notifying Host/Hostess. Guests may accompany Members to any area on the Premises other than events designated and advertised as Member-only events. Guests must pay for use of valet services inside Tailors’ Union upon arrival.

Reservations

Members may make a reservation for special priority seating for any day by calling or texting (901) 233-3801 or emailing members@tailorsunionmemphis.com. When reservations are made during live entertainment or during certain hours and/or times when there is a wait for seating, we offer a 15-minute grace period for all Member reservations, after which others may be seated in the reserved area. Reservations may be cancelled at any time.

The Pocket reserves the right to rent out a portion or all of the Premises at any time, giving 48-hour notice to Members of any closures.
